ABOUT ME

I began my career with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department in 2001. At the completion of the academy and graduation, I was assigned to work in custody. In 2006, I transferred to the City of Yucaipa where I patrolled and was a part of the community for approximately 11 years. During my time here, I had the honor of serving by being involved in community events such as:  Farmer's Market, Autumn Festival, Bicycle Rodeo, Operation Santa Claus, Adopt -A-Deputy for the YCUSD elementary schools, Read Across America, Every 15 Minutes Program, and many others. One of the most enjoyable things about working in Yucaipa was the opportunities I had to meet and develop a rapport with the various residents, business owners and city officials.

 

In 2017, I accepted a position at the Fontana Sheriff Station as a Search & Rescue Coordinator for the West Valley Search and Rescue Team in the Mount Baldy area. During the two years I had the privilege of working with this team, I managed over 40 search and rescues and was able to help many people.

 

I transferred to the Sheriff’s Headquarters/Government Center in San Bernardino in 2019 where I am currently assigned. I have the honor of working closely with many county employees, local law enforcement agencies, elected officials, State and Federal employees through various investigations, events, and instructional opportunities.

 

Over the years, I have met, listened to, and worked with many people from our local area to around the world with various viewpoints. My years of service and community involvement have helped me serve as Councilmember, District 5, to the best of my ability. With your help, support, and vote, I plan to continue this service for the next 4 years.
